CLINICAL
RESEARCH STUDY TO BE CONDUCTED ON
ADOLESCENT MIGRAINE HEADACHES
EDISON, NJ - From deafening
music to the pressures of school to eyestrain caused by videogames, teenagers
today have many stimulants that may cause headaches, but migraine headaches
are the worst and can make teenagers feel miserable.
That's why the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute at JFK Medical Center
in Edison is conducting a clinical research study of a marketed drug for
adolescents who suffer from migraine headaches. If your teenager is 12
to 17 years old and has suffered from one to eight migraine headaches
per month for the last two months, they could be eligible to participate
in the study.
The New Jersey Neuroscience Institute at JFK Medical Center is a comprehensive
facility designed exclusively for the diagnosis, treatment and research
of complex neurological disorders in adults and children. Services offered
at the Institute include programs in spine and brain tumors, dizziness
and balance disorders, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, stroke and movement disorders
and a comprehensive sleep disorder clinic and laboratory.
