CLINICAL
RESEARCH STUDY TO BE CONDUCTED ON
THOSE WITH LEG DISCOMFORT
EDISON, NJ - The New Jersey
Neuroscience Institute at JFK Medical Center in Edison is conducting a
clinical research study on Restless Leg Syndrome, a disorder that affects
10 to 15 percent of adults. For more information about this study, please
call Dr. Arthur Walters and Dr. Sue Fowler at (732) 321-7000, extension
62561.
Symptoms of Restless Leg Syndrome include difficulty sleeping at night
or sitting still for long periods of time because of an uncomfortable
sensation in your legs, accompanied by an urge to move. These symptoms
may tend to worsen when you are resting or in the evening.
If you suffer from these symptoms, you may be eligible to participate
in this research study. The New Jersey Neuroscience Institute at JFK Medical
Center is evaluating a medication for investigational use in treating
Restless Leg Syndrome.
The New Jersey Neuroscience Institute at JFK Medical Center is a comprehensive
facility designed exclusively for the diagnosis, treatment and research
of complex neurological disorders in adults and children. Services offered
at the Institute include programs in spine and brain tumors, dizziness
