After a year of construction, the Sleep Disorder
Center has doubled from two to four beds. With special beds, furniture,
carpet and wall paper, the rooms are as inviting as any five-star hotel,
yet fully equipped for medical study with state-of-the-art digital monitoring
devices. |
Founded in 1993, the Sleep Lab went into full operation in 1999 when internationally
renowned sleep medicine expert Arthur S. Walters, M.D. joined the New Jersey
Neuroscience Institute staff. With facilities for both pediatric and adult patients
suffering with sleep disorders, the Sleep Center serves patients of all ages.
As a multi-disciplinary center, the Sleep Disorder Center provides resources
for the evaluation and management of a full range of sleep concerns, from the
most common disorders to the most rare.
