• Interface between Neuroscience and Cognitive Science by utilizing Event Related Potentials (ERPs) as a measure of semantic and prosodic processing for the comprehension of affective communication
• Study of the interplay between brain and behavior utilizing brain imaging techniques
• Patient-oriented research involving people with language and cognitive disorders (e.g., brain damage, autism, epilepsy)
