JOSEPH C. LANDOLFI, D.O.
,
Medical Director

Dr. Landolfi is a Board-Certified Neurologist with in-depth fellowship training and experience in neuro-oncology at the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute at JFK Medical Center. 

As a graduate of the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Landolfi went on to complete his internship in internal medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. His residency in neurology was completed at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark. 
Dr. Landolfi served his fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. 

Professional memberships for Dr. Landolfi include the American Pain Society; the American Society of Neuro-oncology; the American Medical Association; the American Academy of Neurology; and the American Neurological Association. 

Publications Dr. Landolfi has written articles and abstracts for include Neuro-oncology, CNS Spectrum and Neurology. Dr. Landolfi has been invited to lecture at many different medical institutions that include Mountainside Hospital, Montclair; JFK Medical Center, Edison; Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston; and Clara Maass Hospital, Belleville. Dr. Landolfi has also participated in numerous clinical trials focusing on effective neuro-oncology treatment methods.


STEVEN ZARNY, M.D.

Dr. Zarny is a radiation oncologist at the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute at JFK Medical Center. 

After receiving his medical degree in 1991 from the State University of New York: Health Science Center at Brooklyn, Brooklyn, N.Y., Dr. Zarny went on to complete his internship in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center, also in Brooklyn. He served as a post-doctoral residency fellow in radiation oncology at New York - Presbyterian Hospital: Columbia Presbyterian Center, New York City.

Professional memberships for Dr. Zarny include the American Medical Association; the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology; the American College of Radiology; and the New York Roentgen Society. He is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Dr. Zarny has offered a variety of presentations on topics such as adjuvant hormonotherapy in the treatment of prostate cancer, radiation therapy in acute lymphocytic leukemia, management of pancreatic cancer and other treatment measures. 


MARK S. MACHER, M.D.


Dr. Mark Macher is medical director of radiation oncology at JFK Medical Center. He also serves as consultant of radiation oncology at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. Dr. Macher is an assistant professor of neuroscience at Seton Hall University's School of Graduate Medical Education.

A 1982 graduate of Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Macher went on to complete his residency in radiation oncology at New York University Medical Center in New York City. From 1984 to 1985, he served as chief resident of radiation oncology at New York University Medical Center. In 1986, Dr. Macher completed his fellowship in radiation oncology at State University of New York, Health Science Center, Brooklyn, New York. 

Dr. Macher's professional memberships include ASTRO; AMA; Fellow, Academy of Medicine of New Jersey; Board of Managers -- Middlesex Division of the American Cancer Society; Medical Society of New Jersey -- Middlesex Division. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Examiners and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Dr. Macher also serves on several national and regional committees. Some of his positions include chair, Radiation Oncology Committee of the Radiological Society of New Jersey; secretary, Radiation Oncology Section, Academy of Medicine of New Jersey; and Principal Investigator for the Board of Managers, Middlesex County Unit of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group.

Dr. Bloomfield is an Attending Neurosurgeon, JFK Medical Center, Edison, New Jersey.
